Forever is a pretty long time

About Forever is a pretty long time

Long before Luna was born, Roger was already writing beautiful songs and performing them with Daniela. Most of them never got recorded and released despite being a staple we love to sing together as a family. One of them is “Forever is a pretty long time” – and now it’s time to finally share it with the world.

The song is about how we perceive time and the importance of being present in the moment. We don’t know what tomorrow brings, so let’s celebrate today. Nothing lasts forever and what we think we need to do, might get lost after all. It’s all a big cycle – history filled empty pages and burned them with fears.

If you’ve been following our journey you probably know this song already – it’s one of the most requested when we are singing together. This recording is built around the original guitar lick Roger wrote, he did the arrangement and played most of the instruments. Luna and Daniela arranged the harmony parts, our friend Wolf Simon played drums and Uli Pfannmüller (another dear family friend) mixed and mastered the song and added some Percussions.
